Why we chose our idea/concept:
We decided on this concept as we took
inspiration from the babadook in the same way they discovered
a "childs book" we discovered a photo album. We also felt that this
idea would be most unnerving and original as I had not seen this concept
before. The main plot hook being that the demon takes the form of his next
victim which would always be a child. We could play on the fact that it was
always a child by drawing in our creepy kid film research. In addition to this
when we asked others which concept they preferred 'The Speculum' was voted by
the majority.
